About us

In 2007, a passion for water rescue and gear design led to the creation of H2O Rescue Gear. Fast forward to 2020- H20 rescue gear has grown to be an industry leader in water rescue gear design, training, and safety consulting.

Gear – When designing gear we focus on two primary areas – durability and practical Design. We want the gear to last and be practical. The gear we offer on our website has been tested in the field and approved.

Training – Our swiftwater classes are progressive in techniques while staying simple and efficient in execution. We provide American Canoe Association Raft (Paddle and Oar) and Swiftwater Rescue courses to the instructor levels. We also provide a wide variety of professional rescue courses. We have trained swiftwater rescue teams from across the US, Coast Guard Rescue Swimmers, and military special operations teams.

Safety Consulting - We have provided and assisted water safety and consulting for major motion pictures, TV shows, and outdoor races involving whitewater and surface water. We have also provided and assisted water safety training for TV shows.

Located

H2O Rescue Gear is located in North Carolina, the heart of southeastern rivers.  Our bags are made in Pennsylvania and the rope is made in Maine.
