Aaron Peeler
Owner/Operator
Aaron Peeler, Owner/ Operator of H2O Rescue Gear, started his river career before even being born. Growing up with a dad that was a guide and taking his first rafting trip while still in his mother’s stomach, he had rafting in his blood. Aaron started his professional career as a guide in the late 90’s on the Ocoee and Nantahala rivers. Over the past 10 years he has had the opportunity to guide on many different rivers including the Gauley river in West Virginia, multiple sections of the Colorado and Arkansas rivers in Colorado, and the Grand Canyon. Aaron is now Rafting Manager of the US National Whitewater Center in Charlotte, NC
After seeing many incidents happen on the river, that could have been avoided, Aaron started to dedicate his time helping whitewater enthusiast become more proactive in their river rescue skills. In 2006 Aaron received his ACA Advanced Swiftwater Rescue Instructor Certification. Aaron recently started the process of reaching his goal of becoming a Rescue 3 Instructor.
